Although there are frequent buses that run
throughout the entire day, Florence, like all other Florentine cities, is
easily and perhaps best visited on foot.
It is in fact possible to walk your way
through the city along the main roads that lead you to the monuments,
stopping here and there to rest and to better admire the piazzas that make
Florence truly a unique city. |
For those who have less time and prefer to
move directly to and from the tourist attractions, the museums, the
galleries and all the other wonderful things the city has to offer, there
are numerous public buses available from morning to night to make traveling
easier for both locals and tourists.
